Yingying Fu supports the ReGen Strategic team as Communications Assistant, assisting the social and digital media team with the scheduling of content and analytics reporting.

Fluent in Mandarin, Yingying will also support our clients as they explore Chinese social media platforms and communications channels.

This will be a key part of the broader support Yingying will provide to our growing trade and investment communications practice.

Prior to joining ReGen, Yingying spent two years working for a social media marketing agency in China, where she gained an in-depth understanding of Chinese media and the methods and platforms used by Chinese companies to design and implement social media strategies that work.

As a registered property management specialist with over five years’ experience, Yingying developed strong skills in managing difficult situations.

She was also required to interpret rules and policies between English and Chinese, before using Chinese-language digital platforms to maintain positive relationships with clients.

Yingying has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University and recently completed a Master of Strategic Communication from the University of Western Australia.

The course has given her the opportunity to practice project management and explore different communication styles.

She has also received a certificate of completion for the Global Reporting Initiative’s Introduction to sustainability reporting and the GRI Standards 2021 Update.
